The door opened again, and the woman glanced at the round-faced young man, "Are you really Chu Liang’s cousin?"
"Of course I am. Hey, big sister, then who are you? Liang Ge has always lived alone, how come you’re here?"
The woman raised an eyebrow and said, "Chu Liang is injured and sick, so I’m a friend helping to take care of him and look after the house. Chu Liang told me he invited his cousin and his little cousin’s wife over. How come it’s the cousin who arrived?"
The round-faced young man immediately responded, "That’s my brother! I run faster, so I came first to check on things, and my brother will be here in a moment!"
"Then we’ll wait for your brother and your sister-in-law to arrive before we discuss further," the woman said, and with a slap, she shut the door again. She had emphasized the word "sister-in-law" quite heavily.
"Hey! Big sister, let me in!" The round-faced young man knocked for a good while, but the person inside pretended not to hear, and he had no choice but to retreat.
Dodging next to the handsome man, he asked with a contorted face, "Captain, what do we do now? It looks like we really have to wait for Chu Liang’s cousin and cousin’s wife to come. If Chu Liang’s cousin’s wife were older, we could find a female team member to pretend, but where do we find a thirteen or fourteen-year-old girl? Captain, why do they still have child brides these days?"
Just as the round-faced young man finished speaking, there came a light step from the end of the alley.
Both men turned their heads to look.
On seeing who was approaching, the round-faced young man’s eyes lit up, somewhat surprised, "Eh! Captain, it’s that awesome girl from Siyang Village!"
The person who had arrived was Chiang Xiao.
Thinking that she was alone in the dark alley and suddenly seeing two young men, Chiang Xiao hesitated and stopped, first looking at the round-faced young man, then shifting her gaze to the other man’s face.

"Hey, little sister, don’t be scared, we’re not bad guys!" the round-faced young man immediately called out in a low voice.
"I know you’re not bad guys," Chiang Xiao said while continuing to back away.
The round-faced young man was stunned, "You know we’re not bad guys?" Then why are you still stepping back?
"Chiang Xiao." Meng Xinian accurately called out her name.
His voice was low but seemed to have countless little hooks, capable of catching someone’s ears and making them slightly itchy.
A voice filled with masculinity.
However, Chiang Xiao felt even more danger, looking at him with great caution, "How do you know my name?"
This was indeed strange.
She was certain she didn’t know this man in either of her lifetimes, so how could he possibly know her name?
Meng Xinian had already reached her side, grabbing her arm and leading her back.
He didn’t answer her question.
"Student Chiang Xiao, lend us a hand," that was all he said.
"I’m just a primary school student, I can’t help you, let go of me!" Chiang Xiao tried to break free from his grip, but the man was too strong for her to escape.
However, he was using a skillful force; she couldn’t get away, but she also didn’t feel pain. She could only be led by him out of the dark alley.
The round-faced young man also followed closely behind, as if seeing a ghost, "Captain, this isn’t right, is it?"
