Ge Dejun and Liu Pei munched on sweetened eggs while chatting with them and brought up Chiang Baohe.
They were not acquainted with Chiang Baohe, but they did know Chiang Songtao, since he and Chiang Songhai were brothers, and there was a certain resemblance between them.

They both pointed at him and scolded him furiously, accusing him of being drunk and muddled! Chiang Baohe wouldn’t have it though, insisting he wasn’t drunk, he hadn’t been mistaken, it was indeed a woman who looked just like a fairy that had enchanted him. He said he hadn’t even done anything yet when he passed out, only waking up from the pain when that woman hit his foot."
Ge Liutao exclaimed in astonishment, "So, are you saying that the woman injured him on purpose?"
"That’s what he’s saying, but I saw that no one believed him! Big sister, do you have such a woman in your village?"
"Where would we have such a person?" Ge Liutao shook her head. "Someone who looks like a fairy? There’s no such person."
Chiang Xiao couldn’t help but laugh.
The woman she drew at random was indeed beautiful, with lips painted with red pigment, indeed as red as those of a fairy.
