Legend has it that beside every heavenly treasure hidden deep within the mountains, there will be venomous snakes or wild beasts guarding them, not due to fantasy, but because aged treasures of nature exude a strong medicinal fragrance. This fragrance is also what makes the poisonous snakes and fierce beasts feel comfortable, hence their fondness for guarding these treasures.
If someone comes to harvest, they are invading their territory and attempting to steal the treasures they protect, and will be met with attack.
It was precisely because of this that Chiang Xiao suddenly realized, the plant she had just seen was Wild Ginseng, Wild Ginseng!
The value of Ginseng is known to almost everyone but toddlers!
Chiang Xiao’s initial intent for venturing up the mountain was precisely to search for Ginseng.
She had always believed that Bai Gu Mountain possessed Ginseng, a belief that strengthened after she found Lingzhi.
If such a treasure mountain as Bai Gu Mountain didn’t have Ginseng, then which mountain would?
But she had thought it would take several trips up the mountain to find it, even venturing deep into the mountains to find it. She had never expected to strike it lucky on just her second visit!

Before she could react, the snake that had been slithering back turned into lightning and shot towards that direction.
The next scene left Chiang Xiao somewhat dumbfounded.
Turns out her sketch really did lure in wild rabbits! Two of them, to be exact, and the snake was charging at those rabbits! It instantly coiled around one of the rabbits, while the other, in a panic, ran off.
Did this rabbit sacrifice itself to help her?
Chiang Xiao’s heart pounded fiercely; she couldn’t care less about watching the battle between the snake and the rabbits anymore and quickly stepped out from the Space, gathering the Ginseng with tools cautiously.
Because she needed to be fast, she couldn’t pay too much attention; as long as it was planted in the Space, it would definitely survive, and moreover, grow even better.
Thus, her actions could be described as rather rough, digging out the Ginseng with the surrounding soil and sending them into the Space.
After completing this, Chiang Xiao cautiously approached the snake.
She hadn’t wanted to go over, but she needed to collect her drawing.
Luckily, the snake was now tightly coiling the wild rabbit, completely ignoring her.
Noticing it was preoccupied, Chiang Xiao had a spark of inspiration and immediately picked up the large rock from the Space that she had used to hit Chiang Baohe, and fiercely smashed it down on the snake’s head.
Perhaps her vision and strength were too good at that moment, as it was a direct hit!
But the scene was a bit grim.
The snake’s head was smashed into a bloody pulp.
Chiang Xiao then breathed a sigh of relief, and to her surprise, the rabbit was still clinging to life; astonishingly, it hadn’t been bitten by the snake!
She immediately used a stick to pry the snake away and picked up the rabbit, carefully examining it and ensuring it hadn’t been bitten by the venomous snake, her heart blooming with joy.
How could she even begin to describe the riches of this trip!
The calls of Xu Linjiang came from the distance.
"Little, where are you? Are you alright?"
Chiang Xiao then stuck out her tongue, feeling that she had been away for a tad too long; no wonder Xu Linjiang had come looking for her.
She quickly packed up her drawing, and with the rabbit in tow, bolted towards the edge of the forest.
