Yu Chunyu hastily interjected, "Chiang Xiao, you need to think this through. If you can’t answer in front of all these people, you won’t even be able to get into the first year of junior high. If you admit now that someone taught you before the exam, we can still consider a different method of handling this!"
"Teacher Yu!" Teacher Luo really couldn’t stand and disliked the way Yu Chunyu spoke and acted.
What is this? Threatening a child? Or intimidating a child?
The truth hadn’t even been uncovered yet, so what was she being asked to admit?
Principal Chu also gave Yu Chunyu a glance.
Chiang Xiao replied with a faint smile, "Teacher Yu, thank you for your concern. However, I took the exam based on what I had learned by myself, and no one had taught me beforehand, so I can’t admit to something that isn’t true. Her response instead made Yu Chunyu, an adult, appear utterly ungracious and frantic.

Another teacher, eager to see Chiang Xiao’s performance, stood up and said, "How about I choose a physics problem for Chiang Xiao to try first?"
"Go ahead, Teacher Zhang, you choose."
The books were already fetched, and a teacher handed Chiang Xiao a pen and a sheet of white paper.
The principal stood up and offered his desk to Chiang Xiao.
The young girl seated before the large desk seemed somewhat fragile.
Yet under the gaze of so many, she showed not a hint of timidity; she even twirled the pen in her hand. The pen spun agilely between her delicate fingers, making three or four circles before she flicked it again with just a move of her fingertips, and it spun once more.
Their eyes involuntarily followed the movement of the pen.
This child was far more composed than they were.
Teacher Zhang quickly came up with a problem, scribbling it down, and then handed it to Chiang Xiao.
It was a second-year problem that also required some knowledge from the first year—a twenty-point major question.
Principal Chu and Teacher Luo took a look and couldn’t help but feel a bit worried for Chiang Xiao.

Even so, her answer was written extremely neatly, as if the lines had been drawn with a ruler.
Any teacher grading such a paper would find it a pleasure to the eyes.
"I’m done," Chiang Xiao said as she passed the answer sheet to Teacher Zhang.
Teacher Zhang took it over, looked at it carefully, and his eyes lit up. "Good, very good! The answer is very meticulous!"
She used both first- and second-year knowledge points, showing that her foundations were very solid!
Yu Chunyu couldn’t believe it and asked again, "Teacher Zhang, how many points should be deducted from this question?"
"What points to be deducted? Full marks!" Teacher Zhang declared loudly.
