She looked around and, finding nothing else suitable, spotted a new pillowcase. Inspired in a flash, she immediately stuffed the orchid into the pillowcase, then hugged it to her chest and quietly opened the door to leave.
In the living room, Chiang Songhai was listening to Chiang Baoguo’s complaints.
Chiang Baoguo intended to ask them to take in Song Xiyun and Chiang Caijiao for a few days, even offering to pay for their meals.

Song Xiyun went back and retrieved the orchid. The fragrance of the flower wafted gently into her nose, intoxicating her.
"Gosh, no wonder people say orchids are valuable. This scent really is extraordinarily pleasant." She muttered to herself, hugging the flower tightly as she quickly went to find the others.
She tied up the pillowcase tightly, as if afraid the fragrance of the flower would leak out.
The others were coworkers from Chiang Baoguo’s factory and often hung out at a food stall drinking soda and chatting after work.
Song Xiyun asked the address of the elderly person, not giving it a second thought before heading over.
Having lived in the county town for some time, she had become somewhat accustomed to it and was no longer feeling apprehensive.
