Chiang Xiao couldn’t bear to just toss the Lingzhi into her space; she felt she should plant it right away.
Although getting such a Lingzhi should mean she could sell it for a lot of money, she still felt that she shouldn’t sell it right now.
Her Spatial Medicinal Field was directly connected to her body; acquiring such a fantastic thing, of course, meant she should first utilize it to enhance her physical condition and improve her physical abilities!
She looked toward the stream and saw that her grandfather was still leaning against the stone, resting with his eyes closed, so she immediately took the Lingzhi and stepped into her space.
She marked out a plot of land, and carefully planted the Lingzhi.

She had wanted to observe more carefully, but fearing that her grandfather would worry if he noticed her missing, she hurried back from the space.
Having gotten the Lingzhi, Chiang Xiao simply couldn’t suppress her smile.
She walked briskly towards the stream and soon found another patch of mushrooms.

It seemed that the stream’s dampness encouraged more mushrooms to grow.
Chiang Xiao quickly took off her basket and joyfully started picking mushrooms.
By the time Chiang Songhai opened his eyes and realized she had gone a bit far and hurriedly called her back, Chiang Xiao discovered she had already picked a basket full of mushrooms.
Some she was certain were non-toxic, while for others she wasn’t quite sure, and would need to have her grandfather help sort them out later.

Chiang Songhai was astounded when he saw her basket.
"Little, I merely dozed off for a moment, and you picked so many mushrooms?"
"Yes! Grandpa, I’m amazing, aren’t I?" Chiang Xiao said, lifting her chin in pride.
She hesitated, wondering if she should tell her grandfather about the two Lingzhi mushrooms, or maybe show one to get his opinion.
But then, she decided against it.
Her grandfather hadn’t completely given up on the Old Chiang Family yet; he was still thinking about Chiang Songtao. What if he let slip about the Lingzhi in front of Songtao? What then?
She didn’t want to disturb her peace over a Lingzhi mushroom.
Additionally, after growing in the space for a while, the Lingzhi should become even better. It would be a pity to take it out now.
Having made up her mind, Chiang Xiao chose not to mention anything about the Lingzhi.
However, the basket of mushrooms also brought Chiang Songhai much joy.
After resting a while longer, he took Chiang Xiao down the mountain by another path.

"Little, stop looking. You can’t go in there," Chiang Songhai said when he saw her look of longing and couldn’t help but stress again.
He had been constantly frightened while bringing her up the mountain. If he hadn’t remembered that he had plenty of medicinal powder from the last trip and had sprinkled it on the path they took, he might not have dared to bring her this time.
They were only safe in the outer areas; he didn’t dare venture further up himself.
"Grandpa, I understand," she replied obediently, but in her heart, she secretly resolved that she would explore the deep mountain sooner or later!
To leave such a treasure mountain unexplored was simply wasteful.
But she would wait until she was fully prepared before coming. Chiang Xiao had no intentions of recklessly risking her own safety.
