"Sir and that," Ramsey spoke solemnly.
"Your dad and step mom went to see the old man this afternoon."
The man was seated on a leather sofa, a noticeable cigar clamped between his knotted fingers.
A thin stream of smoke rose lazily, obscuring his handsome and noble face, making it somewhat hazy.
"About the marriage?" His voice was icy cold, carrying a hint of hoarseness and unspeakable attractiveness.
"Yes," Ramsey nodded.
"Sir, he disagreed with your arranged marriage with Miss Rodriguez."
He truthfully relayed to Sinclair the conversation between the two of them and the old Mr. Luther.
"A woman not fit to be seen in public?"
Sinclair's lip curled up, a smile full of mockery filled his long, slim, ink-black eyes.
"Isn't that a better description of that woman, Margaret?"
Ramsey lowers his head, not daring to respond.
After a few seconds of silence, he changes the subject.
"Miss Rodriguez has arrived at the old mansion.
Your Grandpa wants you to return."
He's saying this, but Ramsey knows, according to his boss's indifferent attitude toward marriage, he wouldn't care about this.
"Alright," Sinclair extinguishes his cigar in the ashtray, his mouth curls into a slight cool smirk.
With that, he slowly gets up and walks out with long strides.
"I understand, just say you're busy, the old master won't... huh?"
Ramsey has already prepared his response, but he suddenly stops mid-sentence, realizing.

Though he was smiling, there wasn't the slightest hint of amusement reflected in his narrow, dark eyes, and the aura around him gradually became more frigid.
