Yunyi stepped inside to take a look. The small courtyard was an independent unit, much like the house she had previously rented in Songling Village. While the yard wasn’t as large as the one there, it did have a backyard. After looking around, she thought, It might be a good idea to find some people to help build a woodshed.
Both the courtyard and the inside of the house had been cleaned, so she could move in directly without having to tidy up again.
Just as they were thinking of going out to move their things, Zheng Xuewen arrived with some helpers. "I’ve come over several times this morning," he said, "and I finally saw the car return."
After introducing Yunyi to everyone, Qiao Wenyu shouted to them, "Come on, everyone, lend a hand and get things properly settled! I’ve brought back some meat; we’ll have an extra meal for you all later."

Just as she finished, Qiao Wenyu’s voice came from the courtyard, "The woodshed is done, and we’ve moved all the firewood in. Do you want to come take a look? If anything’s not right, we can still fix it while there are plenty of people here."
Yunyi went to take a look. The construction was well-done; it was clear they’d put a lot of effort into it. Even under heavy snow, it wouldn’t collapse.
In the kitchen, they had boiled a pot of water to test the stove, which was now perfect for everyone to wash their hands.
Yunyi brought out soap and towels. "Please wash your hands. You’ve all worked so hard."
After that, she turned back into the house and brought out a bag of milk candies. "I didn’t prepare much for today, but I’ll treat everyone to a meal another day."
She pressed two pieces of milk candy into each person’s hand. "Have some candy first," she said.
