Qin Lijuan left her home and headed to her usual haunt for playing mahjong.
However, she failed to notice that a car had been trailing her since she left the residential compound.
As she turned into an alley, the car stopped. Several men with covered faces quickly got out. They drugged her unconscious and bundled her into the vehicle.
The abduction was so swift that it went unnoticed. Soon, the car sped away.
When Qin Lijuan came to, she found herself immobilized. It was pitch black all around, and she couldn’t see a thing.
She cried out in terror, "Where is this? Who... who is it?"

But no sooner had she finished speaking than her arm was struck fiercely with an iron rod. She cried out, "AAH!" The sound was eerie in the darkness.
"I’ll ask you one more time: confess every single guilty deed you’ve done. If you dare hide anything, I have plenty of ways to make you talk."
Qin Lijuan couldn’t understand why this man had kidnapped her or what he wanted to know. When had she ever crossed him?
She wasn’t given much time to think. Seeing her silence, he struck her again with the iron rod. That iron rod must be hollow sheet metal, she thought, or my arm would have been broken by now.
Seeing that the man meant business, striking whenever he pleased and not playing by any rules, Qin Lijuan quickly said, "I’ll talk, I’ll talk! Stop hitting me! What do you want to know?"

Qin Lijuan couldn’t take it anymore. "I’ll talk! I’ll talk! I’ll tell you everything, really! Just stop hitting me!"
Over the next hour or so, Qin Lijuan confessed to many things. Ye Bingyu hadn’t expected this woman to be so vicious. Not only had she switched his daughter at birth, but she had also, knowing a patient was allergic to a certain medication, deliberately swapped their drugs to frame a rival nurse. As a result, that nurse was wrongly convicted and imprisoned.
Ye Bingyu had come prepared. He recorded everything Qin Lijuan said, intending to ensure she couldn’t escape the consequences.
However, it wasn’t quite enough yet. He would let her live in terror for a few days; soon, he would send her where she belonged.
After striking her a few more times with the iron rod, he personally untied the ropes binding her, collected them, and then strode away from the scene.
