"Are you sure of what you just said? You are not playing with my feelings, are you?" He asked in an excited voice.
It took all of his willpower to not jump up in excitement, or else he might be taken as a crazy person.
"Do you think I am someone who would play with your feelings? I am definitely true in my feelings here," she felt hurt, she doubted that he would consider her to be someone who would play with his feelings.
"I am sorry if I hurt you with my words, I was too excited and this caused me to speak without thinking," he apologized immediately and she shook her head.
"It is fine, I understand how you feel, and no, I am not playing with your feelings, my feelings to you are true," she assured him and he nodded.
"Wenling, since we both have feelings for each other, does that mean we are in a relationship now?" He asked as he stared at her, adoration and worship visible in his eyes.
Chen Wenling returned the same look with fervor, and she nodded her head positively.
"Yes!" He exclaimed which caused all her eyes in the restaurant to look at them.
"Sorry," he apologized to them with a sheepish smile, and he only turned his attention to Chen Wenling when he was sure the people’s attention was not on him anymore.
"Did you have to react that way?" She asked with a frown.
She could not count the number of times she had been embarrassed today.
"You cannot blame me, I acted based on instincts, I am thrilled, the lady who I have harbored feelings for a long time are now in a relationship with me," Gao Yang took a sip of water before he continued adoring her cute face.
"I suggest you have your lunch instead of staring at me, you cannot eat me," Chen Wenling had a smug smile on her face as she raised her eyebrows just to say those words to him.
Gao Yang stared at her in surprise, of course he was not expecting her to utter such words.
*Tang’s Household*
"I bring news for you, Young Miss," Tang Mei was seated in her room when someone came in and told her he had news for her.
After the stunt she played previously, her father had grounded her and ordered that she was not to step out of the house until further notice. Furthermore, he placed her on heavy security and she could not leave the house.
To get information about the outside world, she could only win the heart of one of her father’s guards and have him spy on the people she wanted him to spy on.
Today was the day he delivered information which he had gathered. Afterward, Tang Mei rewards him, with her body!
"What do you have for me?" She asked as she swayed on her chair while she took a sip of the wine which was in her hands.
"I just found out from an anonymous source that Li Qiang and Xin Yan have found their kids, but the issue is that the couple are keeping it a secret; therefore, none of the members of the high society are aware of this," the informant informed her.
Tang Mei stopped in her swaying as she raised her head for the first time since he came in just to stare at him.
"What do you mean by this?" She asked as she tried to suppress the panic in her heart.
She was bothered. Why would they have kids? If they had kids, that would mean they have been together for a long time, but why was no one aware of such a big issue?
"Young miss, this lowly one dared not lie to you, I only said the truth, the couple had been together for a year before an accident separated them, they lost their memories in that process, and they were separated from their kids, they only regained their memories and found their kids a few weeks back," the informant explained to her and she nodded.
"What do you plan to do Miss?" He looked at her pale face with worry.
He knew that she loved Li Qiang, but she was only bound to deal between both of them. But he could not deny the growing feeling he had for her.
He only had to stop it before he got hurt. What was required of him was to gather information for her and sleep with her.

"How can that be?" Tang Mei stood up from her chair as she questioned aloud, while pacing round the room.
’They were together in the past?’ She asked herself once again while in deep thoughts.
She stopped at her mirror and she sighed before she looked into it. Furthermore, she checked herself very well and she nodded.
’I am beautiful, that is sure, I am also smart, I studied the same major in the same school as he did, and I came out with a good results,’ she listed out her capabilities with a confident look.
’But why can’t he look at me? What does Xin Yan have that I do not? I believe that I am much better than she is, then why can’t he just spare a glance at me?’ She mused as tears escaped from her eyes.
’Li Qiang, I promise to have you, no matter the cost,’ she vowed with a crazed look, her eyes were red.
