His subordinate observed him, truth to be told, he was not sure what his boss was planning to do. Wu Tang never told him about his plans, and he was left completely clueless.
"What do you plan to do boss?" He asked, even though he was a hundred and one percent sure he would not get an answer, or would he?
"The first thing to do is to penetrate Li Qiang’s company, and that has been done already," Wu Tang explained to him, surprising him as he did not think he would give him an answer.
"How do you want to do that boss? Li Qiang is very strict in hiring people, he would not hire anyone without doing proper investigation, who are you going to send to him?" His subordinate was confused.
Surely, his boss must have thought about this important factor because if he hadn’t, then that could be the reason for his actions.
"What if my insider man is none other than his assistant?" Wu Tang had a smug smile on his face as he gave a reply.
The subordinate shook slightly, taking two steps backwards in shock. He surely did not see that coming.
"Do you mean to say..." His subordinate did not complete his statement, but they both knew what he was talking about.

Gao Yang was in his apartment, Chen Wenling was also present with him.
They were watching a Chinese historical drama, The Princess, and The Werewolf.
Chen Wenling was so invested in the movie, she was not aware of the time Gao Yang left her side.
Gao Yang had received a text message, and seeing the number it was from, he excused himself from the living room.
He went into his bedroom, and read the text message. He sighed after he had finished reading it.
The message was simple and clear ----- "It is time!"
’I am sorry, boss, but I just have to do this,’ he mused to himself, regret all over his face, taking deep breaths.
He walked out of his room, and into the living room with a downcast expression. His face was glum and sour.
Chen Wenling who had already noticed him gone previously was surprised to see him with such a look on his face.
"What is wrong?" She asked with worry.
He forced a smile on his face, and shook his head negatively, indicating that he was fine.
Chen Wenling’s brows furrowed. She did not believe him. They were both smiling earlier on, and he left the living room without telling her, now he looks as if he had done something wrong, and regrets it. Something was definitely wrong.
"You have something going on in your mind, and I would like it if you would tell me about it," Chen Wenling was bothered about his demeanor, he wasn’t like this even if he was boring at times.
"You will not be able to understand even if I told you, it is best if you do not keep asking me about it," Gao Yang was not willing to tell her.
If he did tell her what he had done, how was she going to react? He bet she would go running to the person it concerned; hence he could not tell her.
"It is fine if you would rather not tell me," Chen Wenling felt hurt, her face turned sour as she focused on the drama once again, though her mind was not on it anymore.
She wondered about what could have caused him to have such a reaction. It felt as though he did not trust her enough to tell his secrets to her.
Gao Yang felt the change in her emotions, and he exhaled. What could he do? He could not tell her what he had doen.
He felt disgusted with himself, he was ashamed, telling her would ruin the budding relationship between both of them. Furthermore, he was unable to take such a risk. He loved her too much to want to separate from her.
"I am sorry if I made you feel unwelcomed, but you have to understand that I cannot tell you, I feel so ashamed, and I am scared that it might ruin our relationship if I end up telling you," he suddenly explained to her.
She turned to look at him, and truly, she noticed he looked really ashamed. And this got her thinking, what could he have done which warranted him to be this ashamed and regretful? She was curious, and at the same time fearful of what he must have done.
"You do not need to bother, I will not ask you again, since you do not feel comfortable telling me, then I will not bother you ," she let him off, but that did not mean she was not going to find about the issue.
"Are you mad at me?" He asked with dim eyes.
Chen Wenling chuckled, "yes, I am a bit angry with you, but I will respect your decisions, if you would rather not tell me, then it is fine," she gave him a reassuring smile, and he nodded, thankful that she did not take it to heart.
The surrounding atmosphere turned silent, except for the voices coming from the TV, but it was not awkward. In fact, it was soothing, and at the same time comfortable.
All of a sudden, Chen Wenling’s phone rang which broke the silence between them.
"I will get it," she chuckled, and picked up the phone, though reluctantly.
It was a call from her brother, and she was scared to pick it up. She knew what picking the call would result into, but her reflexes were faster than her thoughts.
"Hello," she spoke up after the person on the other end refused to speak up.
"Sister, I need your help," her brother, Chen Mikong spoke up.
She breathed out after hearing his words. She could not believe that she still had hope that he was not calling for such reason. Not only that, but she had thought that maybe, he just wanted to check up on her, but she was very wrong.
"What do you need now?" She questioned.
"I am in jail sister," he informed her.
