This sound directly made Mason Bennett helpless.
He was good at training people, but comforting them was not his forte at all.

"Have you cried enough that we can talk now?"
Bella Green scratched her messy hair: "Then let me down first."
Mason’s eyebrows furrowed slightly upon hearing this; he glanced at the person in his arms, and his grip on the boy’s waist tightened.
"Aren’t you afraid Fiona Grantham will misunderstand?" Bella Green said strangely, "Even though, well, ahem, I am a boy, but, this posture seems inappropriate, right?"
Once again hearing her inexplicable words, Mason’s face became dark.
"Misunderstand what? What’s inappropriate?"
Bella Green’s mouth twitched; why was this man’s emotional intelligence so low?
"You and Fiona Grantham are a couple. Isn’t holding me inappropriate?"
Upon hearing the boy’s matter-of-fact statement, Mason’s face instantly turned completely dark.
Damn it, when did he become a couple with Fiona Grantham???
