Seeing her not speaking anymore, Mason Bennett didn’t press further. He raised his hand to delete the video on the computer, then took out his phone and dialed Elliot Morris’s number.
Watching his series of actions, Bella Green was a bit puzzled, blinking her eyes at Mason Bennett.
Soon, the call connected, and Mason Bennett, holding Bella Green, spoke in a cold, serious voice.
"Delete all original and backup copies of the video. I don’t want to see any content related to this video getting out."
Hearing this, Bella Green looked up at him, blinked her eyes, somewhat bewildered.
"If Victor asks, just say the surveillance was broken and didn’t capture anything."
Having said that, Mason Bennett hung up the phone directly.
Bella Green watched as the man put down the phone, somewhat unable to react.
"Just like that, it’s all deleted?"
Mason Bennett raised an eyebrow: "So, you want Fiona Grantham to get that video and leak it to the media?"
Bella Green quickly shook her head; she wasn’t out of her mind, so why would she do that?
"So, are... are you not angry anymore?" Bella Green asked anxiously.
Mason Bennett looked at her, his tone serious: "Angry!"
"Young people like you are full of vigor, I can understand getting into fights, but hitting a woman is not something a man should do." The man lectured sternly.
Bella Green pursed her lips, nodded, and let out an "oh".
"So, are you mad at me for hitting Fiona Grantham?" She looked at him nervously, with a hint of hope.
Mason Bennett looked at her little expression and found it amusing: "There are many ways to vent."
Mason Bennett’s eyes deepened with an intention she couldn’t understand: "For example, come and complain to me."
Hearing the continuous screams, Victor Bennett’s heart leaped with fear as he looked at the horribly marred face, full of anxiety.
"Doctor, can you be gentler? She’s screaming too frighteningly."
Joanna Ramsey shot a cold glare over: "Auntie’s hurting and can’t scream?"
"Alright, alright, you’re the boss, you’re right, scream all you want!!"
The doctor stopped his actions with a look of helplessness.
"Can you two be a bit quieter? I can’t even apply the medicine with all this talking." The doctor said, looking at Joanna Ramsey.
"Are you really in pain? Still have the energy to bicker, tearing your wound open again and again, you must not be in pain, right?"
"I am in pain!" Joanna Ramsey suddenly quieted, looking at the doctor with a wronged expression.
"Alright, I’m not saying anything anymore, doctor, just apply the medicine quickly." Victor Bennett didn’t dare to make a fuss anymore.
The doctor looked at the two, speechless, then continued applying the medicine: "The two of you just started dating, right? There’s a lot of fuss going on; if you ask me, young man, you ought to give in to your girlfriend a bit."
"Damn, she could never be my girlfriend!" Victor Bennett instantly reacted like an offended husky, incredulous, almost jumping up.
Seeing his intense reaction and resistance, Joanna Ramsey was so angry that her chest hurt, glaring at him fiercely.
"Only if I were blind would I find such a simple-minded husky!"
"Joanna Ramsey, who are you scolding?"
"I’m scolding the husky, none of your damn business!"
"Can you two shut up!!!"
"Forget it, apply the medicine, I’m going out, I’ll ask my brother about the surveillance." Victor Bennett said with frustration and turned to leave.
Joanna Ramsey was startled and suddenly realized, she hadn’t had the chance to destroy that software!!
"Wow, Victor Bennett, my tooth was knocked out!!"
