Bella Green listened to her words, the smile on her lips growing colder, and she turned to look at her.
"Why should I help her?"
Francesca Willis was taken aback into silence, then after a while, continued to smile ingratiatingly.
"Isla is your cousin too; you can’t just watch her suffer. We’re all family, it’s just a matter of saying a few words."
"Just a matter of saying a few words?" Bella Green was amused.
"It’s such a big deal, and you want me to ask Mason Bennett for help; who will owe him a favor, you or me?" Bella Green suddenly put away her smile and questioned coldly.
"Cousin? Did your darling niece forget to tell you how she messed with me in the crew? You want me to help someone who’s constantly thinking about harming me. Has your brain gone bad, or has mine?"
Her words were unapologetic, and Francesca Willis’s chest heaved violently with anger, nearly slamming the table in rage.
The previous words could be overlooked, but she actually said her brain had gone bad?
Francesca Willis was so furious her face turned blue, yet she dared not say a harsh word.
"What? Ivy Willis harmed you in the crew?" Samuel Gren looked at her in shock.
Bella Green gazed at him silently.
"Bella, consider it a favor for me, please. This is no laughing matter with such big issues at stake. How about when things are settled, I have her come over to apologize to you?"
Francesca Willis, though angry, had to plead with Bella Green.
Bella Green smiled at her and said something that almost made her spit blood.
With that, she turned around and went upstairs without looking back.
Francesca Willis was so angry she pointed at the staircase entrance, speechless for a long time, until Bella Green disappeared around the corner, and then she angrily spoke.
"Is this girl now thinking she’s a tyrant? She’s acting like she’s above everyone in this family!"
"Alright, you better stop saying so much. President Jiang is not someone easy to owe favors to, and Bella is right. If we ask President Jiang for help, how do we repay the favor?" Samuel Gren advised.
"What’s impossible to repay? President Jiang is so good to her, maybe he fancies her. As long as she agrees, President Jiang will be our family’s son-in-law." Francesca Willis said confidently.
Across from them, Daniel Green’s face was grim as he forcefully threw the chopsticks in his hand, making a loud noise.
"Mom, Bella Green is not a commodity to be exchanged for equivalent benefits!"
His words left Francesca Willis stunned, and then she clicked her tongue: "What nonsense are you saying? You’ve seen how she behaves. Your cousin is in such a big trouble, what’s wrong with me asking her to plead for some leniency?"
"Bella Green also said that Ivy Willis hasn’t been giving her a break in the crew. Now you want her to beg for leniency? What position are you putting her in?" Daniel Green retorted indignantly.

Francesca Willis looked at the two leaving one after the other, her face bewildered, and turned to Samuel Gren.
"So it’s still my fault? Neither of these kids treats me like a mother?"
That day was destined to bring unrest to many.
Fiona Grantham changed into casual clothes and sat on the sofa, while Nancy Lowe was applying medicine to a scratch on her hand nearby.
"Had I known, I would’ve gone with you. Is this Ivy Willis crazy? To strike so hard?"
Nancy Lowe complained as she applied the medicine.
Fiona Grantham was also quite upset: "I asked you to call Leo Foster, did you do it?"
"I already called Leo. He said he will inform the PR department to handle this matter." Nancy Lowe replied, then continued with an indignant tone.
