Secretary Liu finally noticed Bella Green standing by, and at first glance, a flash of amazement crossed her eyes—what a beautiful young boy.
But within a second, she snapped back to reality, a wave of fear washing over her, and sweat broke out on her forehead.
Damn it, ever since Mr. Bennett came, he’s been bossing everyone around in the secretary’s office, and no one even noticed someone had entered the top floor unauthorized.
"Hello, access to the top floor is prohibited without an appointment. If you have business, please make an appointment at the front desk." Secretary Liu said politely to the pretty young person in front of her.
Before Bella could speak, Jeremiah Bennett lost his temper.
"Did this person barge in? How outrageous! What do you guys even do here? Is my cousin paying you just to decorate the place? Get him out of here immediately."
Secretary Liu was infuriated. It was him who ordered everyone around in the secretary’s office, and yet he turns around and accuses them of negligence?
"Mr. Bennett, I just went to get your coffee, and Maria went to prepare your snacks, naturally no one was..."
"Shut up, do you even have a say here? Does fetching coffee make you complain so much? Don’t you know the CEO here is my cousin?"
The sight of him being so arrogant made Secretary Liu furious but speechless.
Her eyes reddened with anger, yet she tried hard to maintain a smile, "Please leave, young sir."
Bella Green looked at the pretty lady in front of her who was almost in tears from anger, and just as she was about to speak, Jeremiah Bennett interrupted again.
"Didn’t you hear what I said? Get out of here quickly, do you even know what place this is?"
Bella Green glanced at Jeremiah Bennett, narrowing her almond eyes, pondering whether her combat power would be enough to knock this little punk down.
Even though she was undernourished, this guy before her was obviously a dummy...
"Mr. Bennett, your snacks are here."
In the midst of the tense atmosphere, a sweet voice chimed in.
Then, a woman dressed in professional attire like Secretary Liu walked in, carrying snacks in her hand.
Bella Green couldn’t help but take another look at her, for no other reason than the voluptuous figure that distracted her eyes.
Turns out Mason Bennett stares at this busty woman every day, no wonder he didn’t notice his little meat buns.
Just after placing down the snacks, she noticed something was off with the atmosphere, then turned to Jeremiah Bennett with a coy smile.
"Mr. Bennett, what’s wrong? Why are you so upset?"
"Isn’t it because this oblivious thing snuck in here while no one was around."
Maria Sinclair turned to look at Bella Green upon hearing this, frowning as she coldly spoke, "Young man, are you in the wrong place? You can’t be here, please leave immediately."
"Maria." Sophia Latham looked at her somewhat disapprovingly.
"Sister Liu, did you forget what Assistant Elliot just instructed?"
Sophia was taken aback, pursed her lips and said nothing more.
Jeremiah Bennett wasn’t visiting Nathan Bennett’s company for the first time, he came a few years ago with elders, and his arrogance was unchecked back then. Later, Mason Bennett taught him a lesson and he left crying.
Who would have thought a few years later, those arrogant manners hadn’t changed, but worsened.
Yet for some reason, before the meeting, Elliot Morris specifically instructed them to entertain the CEO’s younger brother properly when he comes up.
"You should leave first." Sophia Latham said helplessly.
But Bella Green had no intention of leaving. They’re already taking advantage of her and she wouldn’t be Bella Green if she could tolerate that.
"What if I don’t leave?" she asked, looking at Jeremiah Bennett with a smirk.
