"Damn it! Are you looking to die?!"
The man was nearly knocked over and, hearing the laughter of his friends behind him, felt his face fall. He glared viciously at Joanna Ramsey.
Joanna was startled by the man’s fierce expression and turned around to find Eliza Thornwyk, but when she looked back, Eliza was nowhere to be seen.
After a quick search, she saw that Eliza had already run over to the railing to join others in cheering and shouting.
Joanna was about to run over to her, but before she could take a step, the man behind her grabbed her.
"Do you even know who the hell I am? Coming here dressed like that, what are you trying to pull? Playing innocent, are you?" The man forcefully pulled Joanna, spewing out filthy language.
Joanna was both surprised and scared, though she was a wild one online, in reality, she was just a little girl with no combat power. Faced with this scene and surrounded by a rowdy crowd, she almost cried.
"Let me go, let me go!" Joanna struggled hard, her eyes turning red with urgency.
"Oh, still acting like a chaste martyr, huh? Hahaha." Kenneth Johnson held Joanna with one hand and turned to laugh with the group of men behind him.
"Young Master Chen, this girl doesn’t seem to be faking it. She might actually be genuine, maybe even a virgin." Someone whistled teasingly.
"Girl, Young Master Chen fancying you is a blessing. Don’t be ungrateful. Playing hard to get can be fun, but overacting is just ugly."
Joanna’s face turned several shades of green and red from their words, so angry that she cursed directly.
"Bullshit! Your so-called fun is trash! A bunch of thugs, garbage! If you don’t let me go, I’ll call someone!"
Kenneth’s face darkened from her insults, and he grabbed a handful of Joanna’s hair: "Go ahead, call someone. Hell, even if I do you right here, who would dare to say anything?"
His words completely petrified Joanna, and she started screaming for help.
But just as the man said, the people around were either watching the car race or just enjoying the spectacle, none of them planning to step in and help.
Victor Bennett arrived late, and many people didn’t even notice when he came, let alone know that Joanna was brought by him.

The man behind her howled in pain, kneeling on the ground, unable to straighten up, pointing at Joanna, his voice distorted by the pain.
"Bring her back to me. If I don’t finish her today, my name’s not Kenneth Johnson."
A few men behind him quickly ran over to catch Joanna.
Holding her phone, Joanna cried anxiously, just hoping that Bella would answer the call soon.
After the dial tone, just as a familiar voice was about to answer, Joanna’s hair was yanked hard, making her scream in pain.
Bella answered the call, only to hear the girl’s shrill screams and cries for help, instantly making her heart pound.
However, aside from the girl’s cries and the noisy cheers and screams, there were a few indistinct engine roars.
After a series of statics, it was unclear whether the phone was trampled or hung up, leaving only the busy tone.
Bella’s face turned so grim it seemed like water could seep out, and she got up, striding out while dialing Mason Bennett’s number.
As soon as the other side picked up, Bella’s voice came through with an endless icy coldness.
"Send me Victor Bennett’s location immediately!!"
