Hearing his name, Mason Bennett finally confirmed that the recent call of ’darling’ was indeed meant for him.
Immediately, he heard the slightly disordered breathing of the man on the other end, followed by a quick response.
"Bella, Elliot Morris just picked up the wrong call earlier."
Bella Green: "..." It felt like her intelligence had been insulted!!
"What did you just say?" The man asked with a very natural tone.
Bella Green took a deep breath, suppressing her irritation, finally raised a smile, and called again.
Out of Bella Green’s sight, the corners of Mason Bennett’s mouth curved into an unimaginable arc, making this absolutely the happiest smile he’s ever had.
Bella Green instantly withdrew her smile and spoke coldly, "Don’t push your luck!"
Hearing this, Mason Bennett suddenly chuckled softly.
"Baby, did you miss me?"
This ’baby’ almost made Bella Green throw her phone away from the shock, goosebumps all over.
