As soon as she spoke, beneath the cold glint of the glasses, a pair of deep eyes flashed with chill, as the man suddenly lifted his hand to pinch her chin.
"Speak to me properly." The man lowered his voice with a dangerous warning.
Bella Green forcefully pushed his hand away, laughing angrily.
"Vivian Thornecroft, you and Anna Green really are two of a kind, right? Not happy unless you’re troubling me?"
"Where did you and he go?" Vivian Thornecroft asked, his voice icy, as if he hadn’t heard her question.
Bella Green sneered and looked at him, too lazy to reply, turned around to leave, but her arm was pulled again.
Then, her body was thrown towards a thick tree trunk, and with his hands pressed on the trunk, he trapped her in the middle, leaving her nowhere to escape.
"Answer my question." Each word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth.
Bella Green looked at him, her face extraordinarily cold, and suddenly, she raised the corners of her lips, her smile malicious.
"I’m really curious about what identity you’re questioning me as, brother-in-law? Or what?"
Hearing the word brother-in-law, Vivian Thornecroft’s body suddenly stiffened.
"Don’t call me that!" Bella Green shouted sternly, her gaze icy as if frozen: "It disgusts me."
