Huang Shou is half of Master Wu’s man, usually obeying Master Wu’s commands. If Master Wu bought him someone, it’s not that surprising.
Chuan Er frowned hesitantly, but what convinced him was the fact that Huang Shou had not yet married. To placate him, it’s very likely Master Wu would do such a thing.
"Why didn’t you say so earlier! I could have entertained you!"
Chuan Er didn’t fully believe it, probing more was his real intention. Given the current special situation, he had to eliminate all potential risks.
"If Master Wu gave me the person, why should I tell you!" Huang Shou said reluctantly, uncomfortably adding, "You have so many people! Surely you won’t snatch mine!"
