Before she got back home, Alice paid a visit to the Village Hall to meet Andariel and Queen Freya.
The Incubi Sentinels and Beastkind Guards acknowledged Alice right away. They straightened the pole arms and let her pass without saying a word.
Some of the rookies from the Beastkind Guards were visibly trembling before Alice’s mere presence even though Alice had suppressed her Demonic Aura to minimum. She was just that charismatic.
However, by the time she entered the hallway, she could hear the sultry moans and wet, squelching noises echoing through the walls. The unholy sound intensified from the other side of the door as Alice arrived before Andariel’s study room.
Alice couldn't help but shake her head. ‘Golly, these two are freaking nymphos!’
Notwithstanding that they were in the middle of something, Alice promptly knocked the door a few times.
“Dear mother, are you busy?”
“Y-yes… wait a moment, dear daughter. It will be over very soon.” Andariel replied with a ragged breath. “By Goddess! Freya, ahnn! Ahn! Mhhh! Not my nipples! Aaaahnnnn!”
“Oh, damn… Queen Freya is on fire, apparently. I wonder what could possibly make her in heat like that.’ Alice smirked from ear to ear. Just as she predicted, the two way ‘strap-on’ toy worked like a charm. ‘Seems like the naughty queen is so keen to have a dick of her own, huh?’
Before long, the door was swung open by a Telekinetic-spell, revealing the Queen and her succubus darling who were still drenched in sweat. Nevertheless, both of them were already dressed for the very least.
“Pardon the intrusion, dear mother, my Queen…” Alice strode in leisurely without a pang of remorse after disturbing the nymphomaniacs couple.
“Good afternoon, my dear Alice.” Freya waved her free hand while fanning her slightly exposed cleavage with the other. “It's been a while, fufufu~”
“You are always welcomed, my dear. Pray tell, what brings you here today.”
Alice pulled the empty chair gently and sat down.
“The development of the new weaponry has entered its mass-production phase. Therefore, Lady Nyxondra has asked me to provide the raw materials to ensure continuous production for years to come as well as further research to invent the advanced version of the current model. I would like to buy the raw materials from the village and the Arlenheim Kingdom if possible. In exchange, the Arlenheim Kingdom will buy the weapons from my company instead. Meanwhile, the labor cost will go to the village’s treasury from the profit margin. Hence my unannounced visit.”
Andariel silently amazed by Alice's vision and maturity in handling her business. Instead of hoarding all the profit to herself, Alice was very considerate to share them equally to every party involved.
Sensing that the conversation would last quite a while, Queen Freya opted to prepare the porcelain wares.
“Do you fancy a cup of tea?” Freya took a quick glance at Alice's person.
“I would love to, yes.”
Andariel nodded by the time Freya turned and glanced at her.
“An afternoon tea time with family. What a lovely day, isn't it?”
“Of course it is, your grace.” Alice smiled wryly. She muttered inwardly. ‘Yes, especially after you just had a brutal sex with your partner.’
Alice noticed that Freya conjured a water type spell with just a whim of thoughts. Once the water had poured into each leaves-filled cup, she warmed the water just below its boiling point with a simple Fire Spell. Though everything looks plain and simple, It speaks volume of Freya’s high level magic mastery and mana control.
“Here’s your tea…” Freya didn't mind serving tea for Alice albeit her much higher standing. If possible, she really wanted Alice to see her as her mother.
After a few, mouthful sips of tea, Andariel finally opened her mouth. “So, how many Magic Rifles are we talking about?”
“Tens of thousands of guns, and hundreds of thousands of ammunition.” Alice began her detailed production plans. “To produce one Mk1 Model, we would need 3,5 kilograms of steels, and around 2 kilograms of beech or walnut wood. Of course, we were open for alternative options as long as it could withstand the pressure of the high-pressure gas. As for the ammunition, to produce ten rounds of .303 ammunition, we would need 140 grams of Low Grade Fire Mana Stones. Ten scales of One Horned Lizard, and Flame Monitor Lizard’s skin.”
In less than a minute, Freya figured out the astronomical amount of raw materials that would be needed to arming her military force.
“It is roughly the same as making a long sword, huh?”
“Yes, about that much.”
“If memory serves me right, Arlenheim Kingdom has ten tons of high quality steel and logs in reserve. I could arrange the delivery once I returned to my office.”
“It clearly won't be enough to meet the demand. If you want to keep the Romanov Empire at bay that is.”
“But truth to be told, Arlenheim Kingdom has numerous Iron Ore Deposits with Sydvaranger Great Pit being the biggest and deepest one, but the location is hard to reach due to the harsh terrain as well as the presence of monsters and Magical Beasts that roamed the area. If we ought to mine it, we would need to assemble the Subjugation Army along with the workforce.”
It was so hard for Alice to conceal her excitement. After years of preparation and relentless training, her wanderlust nature could finally be satisfied.
“There’s no need for Subjugation Army. It is a waste of time and resources.” Alice said. “Me alone is enough!”
“How exactly?!” Andariel frowned, clearly against Alice’s reckless idea. “I know you are strong enough to take care of yourself. But the wilderness is no training ground. Alice rolled her eyes. “Fine… I will bring Catharina, Momo, and a couple of Huntresses to accompany me.”
“Being young is truly a bliss, isn't it?” Freya chuckled. She understood Alice’s desire to see the world after years of living under strict protection due to her true identity.
“But of course, I can't just send you out there without a legal document or identification. The wilderness beyond the city’s walls is a free-for-all land. Anybody would try to claim your head if you don't have any legal identification and acknowledged by the state. Especially when you have a good look. Slavers and bandits would definitely go after you. I can already imagine the carnage that would entail your little adventure.” Andariel added.
