Wang Lihe, the youngest of the Wang family, sweated anxiously; if the adoption fell through, he would truly lose all hope.
Gu Kairong sneered, “It’s truly unsightly.”
Wang Danli knew that Gu Kairong was angry.
So she stood up and said, “We have matters to attend to, so we will leave now. As for the adoption, you can forget about it. Don’t bring it up again in the future. You may not mind it, but we find it bothersome.”
Seeing the situation was hopeless, Zhang Weifang burst out, “You barren creature, what are you so proud of? When you face troubles at your in-laws’, don’t come crying back to us for help. You’re truly heartless.”
After several instances of harmful words, Gu Kairong stood up and kicked over the table in front of him, “Giving you face, right? What situation we are in, don’t you understand?
