Luo Qiao smiled, “Stone is preparing for the college entrance exam this year, and Taifeng is sitting for his middle school exams. Yanyan and Yueyue are too playful; I can’t send them over to disturb their studies.
Don’t worry, sister-in-law. Yichen has already contacted someone. They’ll be over in a day or two, just in time to get to know Yanyan and Yueyue.”
Hearing voices in the courtyard, “Sister-in-law, I’m going to call the kids to come and wash up. Dad and our little aunt are back.”
The bunch of little ones was engrossed in an animated show on the sofa. When Luo Qiao called them to eat, they didn’t budge, still glued to the screen.

The children were about to start bargaining when they heard Lu Yixuan shout, “Hurry up and turn off the TV and wash your hands for dinner.”
Ran Ran got up to turn off the TV, while Hao Hao lifted his two sisters off the sofa, and they all dashed to wash their hands.
Lu Yiting came in and saw her nieces and nephews and couldn’t help but laugh mischievously.
Luo Qiao turned to her younger aunt, “Has Auntie Li come back these past few days?”
Lu Yiting nodded, “She’s back. Heard she didn’t have a good New Year at home either. Her eldest daughter-in-law came home for the New Year for the first time, complaining about how dirty and messy her old home was, and also about the relatives. She made quite a few blunders.
It resulted in Auntie Li and her family becoming the talk of the neighborhood. It took her several days to recover. Auntie Li said her eldest son left with his wife and kids on the fourth day of the New Year.”
Luo Qiao replied indifferently, “A daughter-in-law like that will probably drag down her husband, not getting very far without significant ability and always causing trouble.”
As dinner was served, the old master also inquired about Yanyan’s and Yueyue’s arrangements. Before leaving, Luo Qiao specifically wrote a prescription for her uncle Gu Kairong, “Uncle, keep this prescription. I’m worried I might forget when I leave. Drink it twice a week, seven days each time, with a week’s break in between, for a total of three months before stopping.
Three months after stopping, you can start planning for a baby.
