He wanted to embrace her but with people coming and going, he didn’t want to attract gossip about Luo Qiao and spoil her reputation.
Luo Qiao replied, “I got back yesterday afternoon.”
Lu Yichen nearly bored holes into Luo Qiao with his gaze, “Then why didn’t you call me?”
Luo Qiao smiled and said, “I wanted to surprise you guys. Don’t you like it?”
Lu Yichen couldn’t say he disliked it and coughed lightly, “Like it, my heart nearly jumped out, you naughty girl.”
He immediately asked, “How long can you stay in Capital City?”
Luo Qiao saw the anxious look on Lu Yichen and smiled, “I’ll stay for quite a while.”
Lu Yichen, somewhat excited, took Luo Qiao’s hand, “Really?”
Luo Qiao didn’t want to hide it from him any longer, “Alright, let’s walk and talk, or we might really miss out on the ribs.”
Lu Yichen glanced at the sky, and as they walked out of the archway, he asked, “What are your plans for the next few days?”
He knew that she wouldn’t stay without reason, there must be something up.
He then heard Luo Qiao saying, “I enrolled in a driving school today, and I’ll be spending my time learning there.”
