The grandmother and grandson went back and forth offering food to each other, touching Luo Qiao deeply. As the dining cart approached, she stopped it and ordered a serving of cabbage with vermicelli and braised meat, and another serving of rice.
Taking a lunch box from her bag, she spooned a third into it and pushed the rest across the table, “Old lady, please share this with your grandson. It’s hot and I don’t have much of an appetite. It would be a waste to throw it away; better that you help me eat it.”
The old lady didn’t know what to say, appearing a little flustered, “No, no, we’ve already taken your canned fruit. We can’t take your food as well.”

When Luo Qiao returned, the passenger sitting next to her had just swapped seats with Lu Ningzhou, who moved next to her.
As she put away her things, Luo Qiao asked, “Where are you traveling for business this time?”
Lu Ningzhou sighed, “I went to take care of some things.”
