After taking a bath and eating the shredded pork noodles prepared by Rong Daniang, Lou Qiao fell asleep immediately and slept well into the next day, long past dawn.
Last night, Rong Daniang had prepared dinner, and seeing her sleeping so soundly, she didn’t have the heart to wake her. She kept the food warm, just in case she awoke, but ended up waiting the entire night.

Lv Rongrong said, “The vegetables in my greenhouse just grow into seedlings but don’t get any bigger, and the strawberries just flower without the fruit setting—it just falls off. I don’t know the reason.”
Luo Qiao responded, “Mrs. Cheng, you’ve talked quite a bit without really saying what’s the matter, and I must say I’m a bit confused.”
Seeing that Luo Qiao was handling the situation, Rong Daniang didn’t interject. She was curious what the Cheng Family’s daughter-in-law was scheming this time.
Lv Rongrong then said, “My greenhouse vegetables and strawberries aren’t growing, so I thought it might be a problem with the seedlings. Could I transplant some from your backyard greenhouse?”
Taking a strawberry, Luo Qiao spoke leisurely, “What month is it now? Everything in our backyard greenhouse has already been planted. If I give the seedlings to you, wouldn’t that leave our ground empty?”
