The Star Sea was vast, a white light and shadow swiftly streaked across.
The width of the light and shadow reached a hundred kilometers, and upon closer inspection, one could see that it consisted of nearly a hundred ships arranged in regular formation.
This was the Giant Mosquito Fleet that had left the Desolate Star System!
Time in space travel passed extremely quickly; in a blink, half a year had gone by.
During those six months, the fleet had been accelerating non-stop. The current speed of acceleration was unknown to most of the creatures aboard. They only knew that their velocity had long since infinitely reached the speed of light, using compression of shadow space to make space in front of the group-forming fleet compressed. Traveling through this compressed space indirectly allowed the entire fleet to surpass the speed of light!
In front of the fleet, as acceleration continued unabated, a natural Defense formed that could only be produced at extremely high speeds. This defense annihilated all minuscule matter that stood in its way, for, otherwise, even a piece of interstellar matter the size of a fist could bring unimaginable destruction to the entire fleet.
Fortunately, the voyage through the Starry Skies had not experienced any significant changes, and a blurry white zone appeared in front of the entire fleet.
"Lord, we’re about to arrive at the Chaos Starfield."
Kama’s voice broke the half-year silence on a certain Battleship.
"Hmm... Arrived?!" Inside this Battleship, a huge creature slowly stirred.
It seemed it hadn’t moved for a long while, and now it appeared somewhat strenuous as it did so. However, as it moved, a terrifying Energy began awakening within its body.
The faint sound of a heartbeat emanated through the space, indicating the tremendous Life Force of this monstrous being.
His head seemed dazed for a moment, but it wasn’t long before he regained his senses.
The communicator in front of him seemed to be grasped by an invisible hand, flying directly in front of him.
"Alright, I know. Have the fleet slow down a bit," he said.
"Yes, Lord," Kama’s voice responded, then the communication was cut off.
The massive creature stood there, slightly dazed for a moment, before gradually coming out of its half-year long contemplation.
"In these six months, I’ve experienced many things. Although my strength hasn’t fundamentally increased, compared to six months ago, I’ve gotten at least ten to twenty percent stronger," he acknowledged his own insights over the past half-year.
The Monster in question was Jia Yan. During the entire half-year, Jia Yan had gained a more systematic understanding of his own power. He had rapidly increased his strength in the past, but this rapidity came with many dangers for Jia Yan.
This half-year might have been the most systematic and leisurely time he had had since his rebirth to arrange his power, and the effects were indeed different, giving him a stronger grasp of his own capabilities.
