Despite losing more than half of their vehicles, even a few behemoths of over tens of meters in length, with only one remaining, this heavily devastated convoy continued to maintain their formation and kept moving forward.
This sort of thing was all too familiar for groups like theirs. After all, they were essentially outlaws, and this was the cost they bore for their crimes.
Everyone had entered this business filled with dreams of striking it rich. But relentless exposure to death led to their emotional numbing. Gradually, they stopped talking about getting wealthy, and just numbly carried on with this life.
The convoy continued their journey.
Lulu was a lifeform from the ’Dannell Civilization.’ Her homeland was experiencing the most massive catastrophe ever, with a group of mad scientists attempting to overthrow the world. Their countless war machines and life-form creations were rampaging unchecked through her hometown.
So she and her family fled. During their flight, her mother disappeared without a word. Afterwards, her father told her that the Grey-Yellow Star held the promise of prosperous wealth and even hinted that their mother might return, so father and daughter came to this War Planet. Unfortunately, her father got into a dispute with a drug lord when they first arrived and was captured by his men. They haven’t heard from him since.
Lulu didn’t know if her father would ever return. As a young child, she was left to wander the streets of the convoys for a while, only to be taken in by their current leader, who raised her to the present day.
As an indigenous Dannell being, Lulu had excellent vision—a key reason why the leader had chosen to take her in.

The powerful gust of wind blew in her face, causing the small alien life-form to struggle to keep her footing.
When Lulu finally reacted, her shock quickly turned into surprise by what she saw in front of her!
A gigantic skull towering at least a dozen meters high squared off against the small alien!
The skull was incredibly terrifying, and a slender muzzle seemed ready to pounce, sending a shiver of horror through the alien child’s frame.
She let out a near-scream.
At that moment, Jia Yan also found himself having an unusual feeling. Facing this young extraterrestrial entity, he felt somewhat startled.
He had already gauged the combat power of the convoy and concluded that they posed no significant threat to him. This made Jia Yan decide that he needn’t beat around the bush—he just went over here directly to intercept the life from this place!

This little extraterrestrial lifeform looked a lot like the beast-like humanoid creatures depicted in many Earth books!
She had long ears, which reminded him of a rabbit, and her face was similar to a human’s, with its distinctive facial features.
Maybe it was her bright red eyes that gave her such good vision. However, her short little legs and bare feet made her look cute, like some adorably charming creature often talked about on Earth—quite endearing indeed!
As expected, the physical appearance of extraterrestrial lifeforms is diverse and quite fascinating!
Jia Yan wore a look of interest.
"Ahh!!" Finally, the tiny rabbit-like lifeform let out a terrified scream.
Her voice was pitched very high. Just hearing it, one could tell that she was in a state of panic!
