She even noticed that the Big Mosquito seemed to be vaguely centering its range of battle around her. She held the key to all of its desires to return to Earth, so even if Earth City were to vanish completely at the moment, Daphne could not possibly die!
This greatly increased Daphne’s chances of survival. After all, being someone who had an understanding of the Big Mosquito’s existence, she had a deep knowledge of its actual battle strength.

As the Commander of the Fifth City, how could he potentially let such an ideal situation go to waste? The developers of Earth City beneath him were a loose coalition at best. Although some among them possessed power, this might have been the strongest opponent their city has ever faced. However, this opponent lacked any semblance of unity. If they could just hold on a bit longer, the city’s entire defense system would surely collapse!
When that happens, the powerful Flying Monster will lose its advantage in numbers. Along with the ’trump card’ they held, taking down the enemy would be a piece of cake!
He had absolute faith in his trump card. If they still couldn’t capture this powerful flyer with that, they would have suffered huge losses a long time ago.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! ------
Its sharp wings shear an aircraft in half as Big Mosquito flew by.
"Oh? There’s something amiss over there."
