The first commander of the Spaceport finally shook off the shock from the barrage of battles. As he watched the scenes of ongoing fights, a feeling of dread filled his heart!
"How much longer till our communication is restored? These damned Earth City stalwarts could potentially lay our Spaceport to waste! Without reinforcements, it will be hard for us to win this war!"
"Commander! We are one minute away from restoring communications!"The answer from one of his advisors lifted the first commander’s spirits somewhat.
However, his next statement caused the commander to descend into a state of trepidation once again.
"But even after reestablishing the contact, it would still take at least ten minutes for the major civilizations to deploy forces, and that’s assuming no further disagreements and gaps arise. Meanwhile, the foot soldiers reported that the Earth City’s army is at our doorstep, with over ten thousand war chariots and hundreds of thousands of soldiers, prepared to breach our Spaceport under the cover of the Strong Ones!"
"Damn it! Everything is perfectly timed. What kind of a Commander does Earth City have!"
The first Commander could hardly keep himself from throwing up blood. Despite their dominant power, the situation was perilously hanging by a thread!
All this was devised by the sinister Commander of Earth City - a think tank. The Think Tank must be an unimaginable master of tactics, magnitudes stronger than the inexperienced commanders at the Spaceport!
He believes that if it wasn’t for this mysterious existence, the dire situation at the Spaceport wouldn’t have happened, given their indisputable superpower status backed by the Universe Battleships!
Each civilization has dedicated some battleships to every single Spaceport, despite their wary and uncooperative status. If they were to measure the power they hold, these Spaceports were the most powerful entities next to the major civilizations, even with regards to the number of battleships. Their numbers even surpassed the puny fleets strolling in the space!
Excluding some anomalies should any significant powers - the Biochemical Empire, The Auster Empire or the forces of the Grey-Yellow Star, decide to annihilate them, it would require a tremendous show of power!
Earth City, an entity teetering on the edge of survival, managed to sneak attack their forces and employ strategies to suppress them into such a state!
This is a disgrace to all the Spaceports in the Grey-Yellow Star!
"Has the 500-meter class Battleship taken off yet?! What? It’s still warming up? Damn it, this is the 500-meter class battleship that the Auster Empire has given us! It’s nothing more than an old relic about to lose its teeth!"
"It must take off. Once it takes off, these damned soldiers of the Earth Army will be nothing more than jesters. Neither the firepower nor the defense capacity of the two hundred meters level warship are comparable to that of the 500-meter level battleship!"
The first Commander was now acting like a madman. After uttering these words, he ran towards the outside. "Be careful, Commander!" Suddenly, a few powerful monsters from amongst the group ran towards these monsters. As an important Spaceport, the bodyguards by the Commander’s side were naturally some overwhelmingly powerful Heavenly Peaks!
"It’s just some inexperienced guys! Die!" The strong ones from Earth City were fierce and mounted an immediate counterattack, which triggered a powerful shockwave!
The stone giant began to fight against the giant monster that also looked more than twenty meters high. However, his gear, in contrast to the monster’s, was a grade lower.
The first attack of the monster was to use its tumorous looking head and charge fiercely!
