"Are you just docking here in the starry sky? Aren’t those civilizations from the Grey-Yellow Star going to attack you?" Jia Yan finally couldn’t help but voice his doubts.
The centipede monster before him seemed to find this question very strange. However, upon looking up to Jia Yan’s colossal form, the monster trembled under the realization that it could easily be crushed by one of Jia Yan’s legs, and quickly answered.
"It’s , Lord. The combat power of our Daville settlement is not as simple as it appears. Over a hundred years of development has made our defense facilities formidable. If they want to invade us, they need to move a large force which they cannot afford as they also have their interests within the Grey-Yellow Star to consider. Thus, they have ignored our settlement. This is one of the reasons why we consider ourselves a top-tier settlement."
Jia Yan was just about to continue questioning when Daphne’s voice resounded next to his ear, providing additional explanation !
"The starry space settlements on the Scholes Star are not secretive entities. They have no less than ten, each a force to reckon with. Add to this the complex situation within the Grey-Yellow Star. Hence, these civilization fleets would find it hard to justify attacking us, sometimes they even cooperate with settlements on tasks that civilizations find difficult to handle."
"Also, Lord, please stop asking these basic questions. Too conspicuous. If there are matters you want to know, I can explain them to you."
Jia Yan was somewhat embarrassed. After all, it was Daphne’s first time traveling to this starry sky, but she had prepared well. On the other hand, Jia Yan had been so engrossed in becoming stronger that he hadn’t learned much about such things.
However, he did not get angry out of embarrassment. Instead, he nodded without giving anything away.
When they left the building, they were greeted by a bustling view comprised of numerous structures and living creatures!
This was nothing new to him. He had seen such scenery in outer space and it was also not as grand as the cities on Grey-Yellow Star. But the fact that it was all located on a small asteroid moved Jia Yan deeply.
The life forms of Earth City followed the centipede monster and came to several supply points.
This small irregular asteroid, with a diameter of no more than a hundred kilometers, housed more than fifty or sixty shops selling various materials. Many of these shops were run by the Daville settlement. Though their prices tended to be high, the customers were assured of the goods’ quality.
However, Earth City needed more than just a bit of materials, so they could only search for cheaper options!
"Your price is too low! If you want to buy new ones at this price, I suggest you go to some second-hand shops. You might be able to find some used ones." A creature that looked like a sea turtle shook its head and ignored Jia Yan and others.
"Customer, if you don’t mind second-hand, I can take you to some second-hand shops, maybe you can find something suitable there." The spider monster also offered to help after Jia Yan and others left the shop.
"Alright, then you take us to have a look." Under the circumstances, an Earth City Strong, who had been appointed as the temporary ’leader’ by Jia Yan and others, agreed to the spider monster’s suggestion upon receiving an endorsement from Jia Yan and Daphne.
The group of monsters continued their journey. On a hundred-kilometer small asteroid, even walking at a normal speed seemed an enormous effort. However, after over an hour, the group arrived at a so-called ’slum’ area of the city.
The buildings here generally were not more than fifty floors, which was quite rare in the valuable real estate of the Daville settlement. But now, Jia Yan could easily observe some malicious eyes spinning around them.
Fortunately, the presence of Big Mosquito and the other few Sky-level Strong Ones from Earth City was enough to divert those malicious gazes!
Such large monsters, even if they were just Battle Pets, were absolutely not ordinary. If they were Wisdom Life Powerhouses, they know what that represents. Even if they are not, they are definitely not easy to provoke!
"Alright, up ahead is a gathering place for second-hand shops. Here, it’s all about luck. If you can find what you want, the prices they offer won’t be expensive. But today, these customers were different in its eyes. After all, after seeing Big Mosquito and the other strong Ones, the monster recognized that these creatures were far from ordinary!
As the Earth City creatures entered the shop.
"Are you sure those people are from Earth City, the ones that caused a sensation in the Grey-Yellow Star?" In a foggy place, a powerful entity existed, its body seemingly invisible yet visible.
