In the vast universe, even with a speed covering a thousand miles in a day, it was nothing more than a snail’s pace in this nearly boundless space, where a thousand miles was almost akin to not moving at all.

In the deep reaches of space, a row of flying vessels were chasing each other at an extremely fast pace.
Ahead was an ordinary-looking spaceship, whose speed of flight could truly be described as lightning-fast, crossing endless distances in the blink of an eye. Moreover, its speed was steady, with very little deviation.
Trailing closely behind were five battleships of varying appearances; though different in size, their speeds did not vary much.
Compared to the ordinary spaceship fleeing ahead, these five battleships were fierce in appearance, looking like each was an expensive, treasure-level battleship. At the very least, compared to the ordinary spaceship ahead, their appearances were much more imposing.
However, it was bizarre that these five technologically advanced battleships did not have much of an advantage in this chase.
The spaceship ahead, in its rapid escape, was dodged nimbly by the pilot, as the battleships behind continuously launched energy weapon attacks without any pause, as if the operator were an extremely composed driver skillfully evading every attack.
The five battleships behind seemed somewhat reluctant to directly destroy the opponent, often targeting areas other than the core parts of the spaceship ahead, allowing the spaceship to narrowly dodge the attacks.
"Who is the pilot of this battleship? Could there be a master helping Jia Yan? Such a level of piloting skill can only be exhibited by top-level masters," boomed a thunderous voice from one of the trailing battleships.
This voice sounded surprised; although the ship ahead could potentially be destroyed by targeting its core areas, they had come with specific intentions, and destroying the spaceship was not their goal.
"Don’t be foolish, the opponent is not a real person, but the Smart Brain of this spaceship. It’s unknown where Jia Yan got this spacecraft that possesses such a high-level Smart Brain, but could it be related to the previous great entity that used power?" another powerful being in a different battleship retorted with a slightly mocking tone.
The other Galactic Level Peak beings in the remaining battleships agreed with this Cosmic Strongman’s assertion.
"I also believe it’s the Smart Brain operating, its movements are somewhat rigid. Although it’s advanced, it can’t mask its mechanical nature, but it’s unknown whether this has any connection to that great entity. If this Outsider Jia Yan is really linked with some great entity, the lives of us all wouldn’t be enough!"
Xing Wu’s voice emerged among several others, his tone as calm as ever. After he spoke these words, his fellow strong ones piloting the battleships fell into an eerie silence.
"Regardless, that entity had assured you a period of five days during which he wouldn’t act, and now that five days have passed. To this extent, even if you do nothing, I will capture this Jia Yan myself. I won’t miss the opportunity for promotion," announced Pai Lan from one of the battleships, and his single-person battleship soon surged to the forefront.
As if to demonstrate his determination, he piloted his battleship to launch a dazzling light weapon attack at the spaceship ahead!
Pai Lan speaking so equitably to these beings also revealed their status—other strong ones who were equally or even more powerful than Pai Lan!
These beings were all invited by Xing Wu and Pai Lan.
"Correct, having come here, I cannot give up. If it comes to it, sparing Jia Yan’s life will do," another unfamiliar, grand voice chimed in from behind.
