Chu Yu finally asked, “Shao He, you can deal with Luo Jiner however you want, I have already confined her.”

Shao He did not believe him and said quietly, “You think I would believe that?”
Chu Yu looked dejected and explained softly, “Shao He, I only have hatred for Luo Jiner. If you say she should die, I will go back and kill her right away.”
“I don’t want to hear your explanations, please leave, Marquis,” Shao He said as she stood up to leave.
Chu Yu grabbed her arm, wanting to say something more, when a delicate voice interrupted.
Liang Weishuang approached slowly with small steps, dressed today in a tender pink skirt, her black hair held up by a golden hairpin.
“Miss Liang,” Shao He nodded slightly, her demeanor distant yet polite.
Liang Weishuang noticed Shao He’s arm being held and a look of confusion crossed her face, remembering what Jhiang Yijia had told her.
“The affair between the Marquis and Doctor Shao is not as simple as you think; they are deeply entangled.”

Liang Weishuang insisted confidently, “She wouldn’t deceive me. She said Doctor Shao seduced the Marquis and even said the Marquis wants to take Doctor Shao back to his estate. I think there must be a misunderstanding.”
Shao He laughed bitterly in anger, “Seduce the Marquis? Which eye of hers saw me seducing the Marquis?”
