The man in the black robe had been staying in the room continuously. Shao He could tell he was deeply in love with the woman, but that shouldn’t have been his reason to kill others.
When the man in the black robe noticed her gaze, his lips curled into a cold smirk, "Do you think I’m hateful?"

The man in the black robe stood up and sat across from him, picked up the teapot, and poured a cup of tea, keeping it in his hands.

Shao He suppressed the panic within her and forced herself to sit calmly.

"What would you do if I said I believe in him?" Shao He looked up earnestly at the man in the black robe.
"Are you sure?" he countered.
"You don’t need to sow discord. Since I dared to follow you back to the Capital City, I believe in him. At least in my heart, he will always be the best," Shao He’s tone was firm.
"Haha!" the man in the black robe laughed uproariously.
Shao He stood by the window watching his wild behavior, her eyebrows furrowed, but she still never stepped forward to stop him.
When the man in the black robe seemed to have vented enough, he turned and walked back to the bed, looking at the person in the bed with a sorrowful and puzzled expression, as if it also revealed intense grief and despair.
"Do you really want him to survive?"
Shao He didn’t answer, her clear eyes stared tightly at the man in the black robe, feeling there was something odd about him today, and his words were difficult to grasp.

The man in the black robe smiled in satisfaction, "That is not necessarily true. Men’s ambitions are great."
"I believe he won’t," Shao He stated firmly.
"How about we make a bet?"
Days rushed by, and during these days, Shao He had been staying in the operating room, and she had finally decided to perform a craniotomy.
