The sky was covered with dark clouds, and the strong wind shook the trees ceaselessly, making it impossible for people to open their eyes due to the sand-filled gusts.
When the sandstorm subsided, the sound of numerous footsteps suddenly came from all around, and one after another, people with strange expressions on their faces approached. Their movements were somewhat stiff, and their faces were covered with bloodshot veins, making them look particularly frightening.
The surrounding clans people formed a circle, facing those terrifying outsiders.
"Hahaha, no one can stop me!" Amur roared with laughter, gazing at the army he had cultivated with a triumphant look in his eyes.
The Clan Leader sighed and said, "This will backfire on you!"

"You want them to become your puppets, to use them to achieve your purpose. By what right should your ambition be fulfilled with the lives of these innocent people!" Pei Huaian thrust his long sword toward him.
Thinking of those innocent children and the people of Nameless Village, Pei Huaian’s eyes became sharp. What was the difference between this man and a demon?
Amur nodded, "Innocent? There are no innocent people in this world. I only know that the victor is king, and the vanquished is the outlaw! Sacrifices are necessary to achieve one’s aims."
"Damn it..." the Clan Leader clutched his chest in pain, his heart severely damaged.
"I had already warned you to follow me, but you were stubborn." Amur said coldly.
"How can you blame me? You pushed me to this point today! It’s all your fault!" Amur exclaimed in grief and indignation.
"Stop now, it’s not too late," muttered the Clan Leader in a deep voice.
"Hmph, stop acting merciful here, I hate seeing that face of yours the most." Amur gritted his teeth, "I will make them pay, I want you to live in purgatory!"
Thunder and lightning flashed, and deafening sounds filled the sky.
The sky grew incredibly dark, as if a torrential rain might descend at any moment.
A flash of lightning struck from the sky, lighting up half of the pitch-black firmament.
The fierce wind ravaged the earth, blowing large and small leaves into the air, mingled with shattered dust that scraped against people’s bodies, causing a sting.
Thunder exploded again, deafening, and with the flash of lightning, the sky lit up.
"Ahh~!" The clanspeople screamed and fled, bumping into each other chaotically.
Terrible cries echoed everywhere as the clanspeople ran in panic.
Suddenly, Amur struck swiftly, hitting the Clan Leader hard. The immense force knocked him to the ground, agony spread throughout his body.
The Clan Leader struggled to get up, just as he was about to rise, he was suddenly thrown to the ground again, spitting out blood, his head dizzy.
"Clan Leader..." the Third Elder and Second Elder rushed over, frantically helping the Clan Leader to his feet.
Trembling, the Clan Leader pointed at Amur, "Since you are beyond persuasion, I need not urge you any further."
Seeing the Clan Leader’s state, Amur said with disdain, "Hmph, you’re on a path to your own destruction!"
"Amur, do you really want to kill everyone?" bellowed the Second Elder.
Amur clenched his fists, hatred flaring in his eyes, he said coldly, "Whoever dares to block my way, I will annihilate."
The two Elders exchanged glances, then charged at Amur together.
They attacked in unison, catching Amur off guard, pushing him back several meters.
"Seeking death!" Amur became furious, pulled out the curved knife from his waist, and charged forward, slashing directly at one of the Elders.
The Second Elder avoided quickly, then swung his fist to hit, but Amur dodged it.
Amur turned and ran; although he was strong, he was clearly at a disadvantage facing the two of them.
"Chase! We must not let him get away!" said the Clan Leader, clutching his chest.
Those being controlled started to bite frantically, Shao He took out a silver needle and stabbed it into one of the Gu insect-infested people, who paused only for a second before attacking her wildly again.
Shao He kicked two of them away, but these people seemed to fear nothing; even if injured, they could quickly get up and charge again.
"This is no good, everyone hurry up to the altar," Shao He shouted loudly.
The clanspeople rushed forward, quickly running up to the altar.
Unnoticed by Shao He, a child behind her sprinted toward her, and just as it was about to bite her, a large hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her away from the spot.
Huaian released Shao He and turned to deal with those out-of-control people.
All the clanspeople had reached the altar, and the Second and Third Elders were guarding the stairs on both sides with their guards.
Seeing that they couldn’t reach the altar, those people set their sights on Pei Huaian and An Shi.
Shao He took a couple of steps then stopped, looking back at those who were surrounded, she turned back without hesitation.
Seeing her return, Huaian’s face darkened with rage as he roared, "Didn’t I tell you to leave, why did you come back?"
Looking firmly at him, Shao He said, "I will never leave you alone. Xiao Linzhang cannot be without a father, and I cannot be without you."
The three of them stood back to back in a circle, and then suddenly the Clan Leader on the altar shouted aloud, "Stab them in their Baihui Acupoint."
