Liu Yuer nodded in his arms. She knew that everything Chenran did was for her good. She also understood that her identity could not be exposed, otherwise, it would cause trouble for him.
"I’ll be obedient from now on," she said.
"I’m sorry to put you through this," Mo Chenran said helplessly.
He knew what kind of personality Yuer had, how could she possibly stay confined to a room, but he really had no other choice.

Shao He pursed her lips and put it down, feeling slightly flustered, unsure of the purpose behind their late-night visit.
"Why are you standing, come sit," Huimin said in a clear, cold voice.
Jhiang Yijia and Shao He slowly sat down, and Xu Han, seeing their nerves, laughed, "Mother is here simply to offer congratulations."
Huimin pushed a box in front of Shao He, speaking awkwardly, "Since Huaian is set on you, the Eldest Princess has nothing more to say, this is for you."
Shao He, seeing her manners, felt somewhat panicked and hastily refused, "Thank you for your generosity, Eldest Princess, but I cannot accept this gift."
