Shi Mei cowered behind Bai Yuejie, only sitting down at the consultation table when dragged forward.
Bai Yuejie took off Shi Mei’s coat, and as Dr. Fei’er picked up the stethoscope and barely touched her chest, Shi Mei cried out, shouting, "Don’t touch Shi Mei, wuu wuu wuu, bad man!"
"Stop fussing, the doctor is checking you, be good," Bai Yuejie said, peeling open a piece of fruit candy and stuffing it into her mouth, "Eat the candy."
Tears streaked Shi Mei’s face as she sucked on the fruit candy, frowning deeply.
But she finally calmed down.
