Shi Lingyan’s movements came too swiftly and too tumultuously. Shi Mei hadn’t had time to brace herself before her back was pressed against the cold piano lid.
With a muffled groan, Shi Mei tried to struggle, but Shi Lingyan seemed as if he couldn’t wait to devour her, kissing her deeply and forcefully.

Shi Mei felt a pang in her heart, and her bright, clear eyes dimmed, her voice laced with mockery, "Is that so?"
That look in her eyes stung Shi Lingyan’s heart.
His thumb brushed over her palm, his voice very low, "You don’t believe me."
"I do believe," Shi Mei smiled brilliantly, her voice low and sultry, "After all, it has been three years. How many sets of three years does a person have in their life? In these three years, you’ve built a career and gained both fame and fortune. On one side, you have a darling wife, and on the other, a first love, yet you still think of someone else. I never realized before how all-embracing you were."
Shi Lingyan’s eyebrows twitched, "Tang Wu..."
