Xiao Wu had always been reluctant to learn dance, but after being forced to practice several times, she clamored to learn the "Paper Butterfly Dance."
Because this dance was choreographed by Granny Tang, there were exceptionally strict requirements for it. After Granny Tang gave Xiao Wu some tips several times, Grandpa Tang also deeply remembered this particular dance.
However, in Grandpa Tang’s memory, this was probably the only dance that Tang Wu had put her heart into learning, and it was also the dance that she had spent a very long time on and had never been able to master.

Looking up, she was astonished to find that Shi Mei had matched her tempo and had not lost the connection between the music and the dance despite the slower melody.
Even more so, Granny Tang discovered that Shi Mei’s dancing skills were astounding.
With each sink, lift, stretch, and charge, her toes always touched the ground, her body stable yet light, just like an elegantly poised butterfly, swaying and fluttering in dance.
Grandpa Tang couldn’t help but be mesmerized as well, watching her dance movements naturally brought back memories of Granny Tang when she was young.
That graceful and gentle demeanor, he would never forget.
Suddenly, the tune escalated.
The pink butterfly, dancing with the wind, abruptly leapt, opened, and closed, her body flexible like water and strong as a cunning arrow yet gentle as ever.
She slightly curled her lips, her hands and wrists aligned, like twisting vines growing intertwined. Gradually rising, her delicate white fingers touched, forming a perfect bloom, brilliantly blossoming.
Awe flashed in Granny Tang’s eyes, and Grandma Shi was utterly astounded.
She had always thought this foolish girl was good for nothing and had no strengths, but who would have known, she truly shouldn’t be judged by her appearance!
Such skill, such technique, she must have started learning from a very young age!
But Shi Mei did not notice their gazes, completely immersed in her world.
She had once dreamt of receiving a compliment from her grandmother, praising her talent and achievements in dance.

The melody gradually softened, and so did Shi Mei’s supple body, but suddenly, a woman’s voice sharply pierced through, "Xiao Wu?"
The voice, achingly familiar, jolted Shi Mei, nearly making her blurt out, "Mom."
