Soon after, she sprinted towards him, the sharp dagger aimed straight at his heart.
If this stab went through, there was no doubt, it would be the end of the road.
But Shi Lingyan, looking at her, felt darkness descend before his eyes and a dull pain in his chest, yet he didn’t have even the slightest strength to struggle.
Shi Lingyan slightly closed his eyes and opened his arms towards her, his voice serene yet hoarse, "Okay."

One of the men spoke in English, "Is that her?"
"Yes, that guy isn’t going to last much longer. We just need to take this woman with us, the boss said he wants someone fresh."
