The Supreme Black Card was even studded with colorful diamonds!
Under the grand indoor spotlights, it emitted a dazzling glare.
Had it not been for the little pink Peppa Pig printed on it, they might have been deceived.
The saleswoman’s face turned sour as she struggled to maintain her nearly non-existent smile, gritting her teeth, "Miss, don’t make these kinds of jokes."
Shi Bingbing was in utter panic. She quickly took the blinding Supreme Black Card from Shi Mei’s hands and pulled her aside, speaking on the verge of collapse, "Shi Mei, stop fooling around. This is no time for jokes!"
Shi Mei puffed her cheeks, staring at her treasured black card in Shi Bingbing’s hand, and said angrily, "That’s mine!"
Shi Bingbing’s heart sank.
It was at this moment that Shi Bingbing realized she was like someone leading a fool.
Shi Mei reached out to snatch it back, and as Shi Bingbing’s face turned utterly sour with fury, she threw the Peppa Pig on the ground and shouted, "Are you fucking playing with me? Where’s the black card, bring it out now!"
With that, she even tried to grab Shi Mei’s purse!
Seeing the situation, Shi Mei seemed genuinely frightened and burst into loud cries.
But not a single tear fell; a flicker of amusement passed through her eyes and vanished in an instant.
Shi Mei took the opportunity to push her forcefully and screamed, "Bad person!"
Shi Bingbing fell with stars in her eyes and, realizing the growing crowd of onlookers, wished she could just find a hole to crawl into!
It was utterly mortifying!
Seeing this, the saleswoman looked as dark as charcoal.
Were these two here just to make a fool of her?
Fortunately, security noticed the commotion and promptly hurried over.
And the person who arrived was none other than the head of security!
Just as the saleswoman was about to have them thrown out, the captain’s voice carried a note of surprise, "Is that you?"
The surprised look was clearly directed at Shi Mei.
Shi Bingbing didn’t expect them to know each other and, seizing the moment, asked, "You know Shi Mei?"
The head of security immediately said, "Miss Shi is a friend of Mr. Tang. She spent quite a bit here yesterday. Why are you crying now?"
Shi Bingbing, clutching at straws, quickly got up, hoping he could help smooth things over.
This was just too embarrassing!
But before she knew it, Shi Mei was already ahead, sobbing, "A bad person bullied me!"
And when she shouted this, she pointed right at Shi Bingbing!
The head of security’s expression darkened.
Realizing something was wrong, Shi Bingbing stomped her foot in frustration and quickly defended, "I’m her cousin; we came shopping together!"
Shi Mei continued crying and, perhaps finding the head of security familiar, moved closer and pitifully hid behind him.
Feeling that the situation was amiss, the head of security turned to Shi Mei and asked, "Do you know this person?"
Shi Mei shook her head.
Shi Bingbing, distraught, cried out, "Shi Mei, I brought you out from home, how can you not recognize me?"
Shi Mei’s expression began to waver.
The head of security asked again, "Did she bring you out?"
"And do you know her name?"
After a moment of puzzled thought, Shi Mei shook her head again.
Shi Bingbing grew even more anxious, "I’m Shi Bingbing, your cousin!"
The head of security comforted Shi Mei and asked, "Don’t be afraid, I’ll ask you one last question, do you think she’s a good person?"
If she thought she was a good person, then she must be a friend.
