Breakfast time, Wei Rong placed the four-tiered lunch box on the table.
Jun Feifei grimaced, feeling the table’s life expectancy drop by one.
Qu Ruorui couldn’t help but express her concern, "Rongrong, you’ve been eating so much lately, don’t you feel stuffed every day?"
Wei Rong grabbed a deep-fried dough stick with one hand and a steamed bun with the other, attacking her food from both sides.
Her cheeks were stuffed and swollen, as if she were afraid someone would snatch her food away.
It took a good while for her to swallow her food before she could speak.
"Nope, I just feel hungry." She was a bit embarrassed. "I don’t know what’s up, my mom has even started nagging me, saying it’s a good thing everyone’s living well now, otherwise I’d have eaten us into poverty a long time ago."
Yue Qingqing went to get her water bottle and seemed to accidentally bump Wei Rong’s wrist.

Wei Rong, puzzled, rubbed her belly and casually took out a bag of potato chips from her backpack.
"Our relationship is okay, I guess. We played together quite a bit recently, but of course, we can’t compare to my relationship with you guys."
Wei Rong tore open the packet, broke off a piece of the crisp biscuit and threw it into her mouth, wondering if perhaps Qingqing was feeling jealous.

Qu Ruorui was confused and clueless as to why.
But Jun Feifei felt the hair on her arms stand on end.
She’d never forget the circumstances under which Qingqing had last asked her these questions.
Jun Feifei bit her lower lip, remembered Wei Rong’s recent unusual behavior, and silently shifted her chair away.
She huddled in the corner and rubbed the goosebumps on her arms.
"Hold on." Wei Rong tilted her head back and dumped the remaining crisps into her mouth.
A cringe-worthy crunching noise ensued.
"What do you mean by strange things? Oh, right, we played a game a while back. We meant to invite you, but you didn’t show up."
Yue Qingqing remembered something like that, but at the time Jiang Jingze had come up with a new dish, and she was eager to try it after school, so...
"Start from the beginning," Yue Qingqing had an inkling that everything peculiar might have something to do with the game Wei Rong mentioned.
"It began because Zhang Mingming and Li Tu were mocking us girls for being scaredy-cats, so Luo Jie suggested we play two games that we heard some senior girls talking about, just to spook the cowards."
Qu Ruorui curiously interjected, "What games?"
