Zhuang Rouhui hurried to the Li Family Mansion.

She could not remember how long it had been since her last visit here.

The slap made the woman’s head turn to the side.

Ding Xiulan then slapped Li Fuhong.
"And you! What are you thinking, bringing her here at a time ? Don’t you have any sense of being a father?"
Zhuang Rouhui, originally furious, felt suddenly relieved seeing that Li Fuhong had also taken a hit on the face.
Li Fuhong, holding his face, tried to defend himself, "I was with Xiaolei when I heard the news, since she is my secretary after all. I didn’t think too much and just drove back."

Li Fuhong immediately showed a look of distress, "Mom, don’t blame Jiao Lei. It was I who didn’t think things through."
Ding Xiulan gazed at Jiao Lei and laughed, a laugh that was not without mockery.

Zhuang Rouhui bit her lower lip and glanced at Ding Xiulan’s expression before she dared to ask, "We had arranged for a caretaker for Ruyun; do they have any idea where they have gone?"
Li Jiaguo’s face was stern, "We asked them as well. No one in the hospital, including the caretaker, knew their whereabouts. I called you all here to ask if you, as their parents, have any idea where the two children might have gone?"
