After listening to the haunted house staff’s brief introduction to the plot, everyone drew a sharp breath.
"Isn’t this too terrifying? Does your haunted house have a death quota every year? If someone dies of fright, do you compensate?"
The question, meant as a joke, was answered politely by the staff.
"Indeed, there are cases of visitors fainting every day, which is why we have a professional first-aid team prepared to ensure you have fun in safety."
Is this supposed to be reassuring?
Gu Tiantian desperately tried to glean something from the staff member’s face.
"You’re just kidding, right?"
The staff member smiled faintly at her.
