Kelly closed the door to the nursery.
She kept Noel and others out of sight, explaining the situation briefly to Abigail.
Abigail was very surprised. “You said Brandon Piers knew about it on the second day after your family’s incident?”
“Yes, that time I was injured in the car. The second young master gave me a leave of absence in name but actually meant for me to adjust my mindset, fearing that I might reveal the situation due to my emotions,” Kelly explained.
“I see.” Abigail hadn’t expected that, on the day Brandon used Teddy to plot against the Piers family’s third uncle, he had such deep intentions.
Not only did he lure the snake out of its hole, but he also tried to provoke Kelly into telling the truth.
He used a stick and then a sweet jujube, ensuring the safety of Kelly’s family and making Kelly wholeheartedly take care of Teddy, without worrying about any other potential risks from a change of caregiver.

Abigail voiced her doubt, and Kelly shook her head. “This, I am not sure. The one who has been in contact with me is always Mr. Max from outside.”
Mentioning Mr. Max made Abigail think of Special Assistant Max just now. One could tell he was a meticulous person, unlike Pullan. For some reason, an image of a strong, iron man with red-rimmed eyes, trying hard not to cry, flashed in her mind.
She suddenly felt she somewhat understood why Brandon didn’t tell Pullan certain details.
“Kelly, I’m sorry for earlier.” Understanding the situation, Abigail didn’t hesitate and directly apologized.
Chloe Winifred felt a bit embarrassed too. “As long as you don’t blame me for taking Teddy away without telling you.”
Having worked with Abigail for so long, Kelly naturally understood how much Abigail cared for this child. Accepting the second young master’s arrangement to take the child away without telling Abigail always left her with a bit of guilt.

However, when Abigail thought that Brandon didn’t even know she was Teddy’s mother, her emotions quickly turned bleak.
Up to now, Abigail hadn’t decided whether to tell Brandon that she was Teddy’s mother.
Previously, when she hesitated, she had no idea how to treat the original host’s child and was even less clear about her future.
But now things were different.
The sorrow she felt upon learning she might lose Teddy that day made Abigail realize that Teddy had already become the one she could never let go of, the baby she wanted to protect for both herself and the original host.
If she didn’t speak up, she could only be Teddy’s nanny, and the term was only one year.

She wanted to protect Teddy more than ever.
But after revealing her identity, Ruby Green and her daughter wouldn’t let her go, Brandon wouldn’t marry a fat woman, and Elder Piers wouldn’t grant her custody of Teddy as a single girl.
Abigail sighed lightly, looking at the little one in her arms who was starving, and softly murmured, “Teddy, what should we do?”

Fortunately, she saved Brandon, and it was time to propose that condition.
