The clear cries of the baby echoed throughout the entire ward, easing the tense emotions on everyone’s faces a little.
Brandon Piers looked amusingly at his son, who was waving his hands and kicking his feet in his arms. When he met the child’s clear and innocent eyes, his once cold and hard heart softened.
Since the little guy was born, Brandon had certainly seen him, but he had never observed him so closely.
Except for the initial time when the little guy was sent to the Piers’ old house, Brandon had never easily held him again.
Teddy’s appearance was too unexpected for him.

“Turning twenty-six after the New Year.” Pullan did not understand why the elder suddenly asked about his age.

Pullan, “…I have been in love.”
