Xiaofeng looked so much like her mother, and she too had been taken away from the hospital. Could it possibly be her Yaoyao?

Seeing Xiaofeng move too slowly, Chu Qing grabbed the clothing from her hand, frantically searching through it.
The clothes Yaoyao had worn back then were hand-embroidered by her mother-in-law, with sewn characters on them if she remembered correctly. But she couldn’t recall the pattern of the clothes Yaoyao had worn.
She remembered there were sewn characters, yes, sewn characters.
Xiaofeng watched her frantically search the clothing, and her heart stirred, her voice rising involuntarily, "Are you trying to find the embroidered characters?"
Indeed, there had been embroidered characters, but they were scorched black, so now it was impossible to make them out.

Chu Qing’s lips trembled.
Yes, it was feng. Because her daughter’s name was Quan Fengyao, and the name had been given by her father-in-law. After he named her, her mother-in-law had embroidered those characters onto the already finished clothes.

Chu Qing clutched the clothes tightly in her hands, her tears turning from dampness to loud sobs. She hugged Xiaofeng in one swift motion, like reclaiming a long-lost precious treasure, "Yaoyao, could you be my Yaoyao?"
Xiaofeng was clutched so tightly by Chu Qing that she could barely breathe. The embrace was too strong, yet so warm.
"Stepmom, please explain to me first, what’s this all about?" Chu Qing and her husband had only mentioned their daughter in bits and snatches around her, and she knew just the gist of it.
For instance, their daughter had sadly passed away soon after birth in Xijiang County, and their last visit to Xijiang County was to pay respects and remember their daughter who didn’t get the chance to live.
Chu Qing was sobbing uncontrollably, hugging Xiaofeng tightly, "All you need to tell your stepmom is, are these clothes yours, are they yours?"
Xiaofeng nodded, "These were given to me by my previous mom before she left on a long trip. She said she owed me an explanation, so she sent me the clothes I wore as a child, hoping that they might help me find my birth parents."
"My Yaoyao." Chu Qing was crying and laughing at the same time, "I knew it, my Yaoyao couldn’t have died; my Yaoyao was born so healthy, how could she possibly have died."
"Shush, don’t say anything for now; everything will come to light." Chu Qing was overjoyed, "I’ll call your dad and have him come back. I’ll explain everything to you."
Quan Sifang was still in the hospital when he received Chu Qing’s call.
Chu Qing said nothing over the phone, just urged him to come back quickly as she had something important to tell him.
"Your mom must be frightened; she said she has something very important to tell me and insisted I come back. You just stay in the hospital and rest; I’ll be back soon. Xiaoyan, look after your sister, I’ll be back shortly."
"Dad, I’m okay. Honestly, the wound doesn’t hurt at all; if you all weren’t so worked up, I’d seriously doubt I’m even injured." Xiaonian pouted, convinced she could get out of bed, but with her grandfather and brother watching over her, she couldn’t go anywhere.
"Keep being mischievous," Quan Sifang glared at her: "You won’t cry until you see the coffin, will you?"
Xiaonian stuck out her tongue; she didn’t want to see a coffin, she truly didn’t feel pain.
Of course, she didn’t know that the reason her wound didn’t hurt was that Xiaofeng had infused it with Spiritual Energy.
Watching Quan Sifang leave, Xiaonian pouted, "Mom is being so secretive, making Dad come back just for that."
"You’ve been so badly hurt, it’s understandable that your mom is anxious," Old Master Chu chuckled at her: "I told you to practice your skills more, but you didn’t listen. Now you’re suffering the consequences. Where’s the gift I sent you?"
