As Lady Quan led Xiaofeng out, the journalists perked up.
Today, they had material, and with Lady Quan present, it was bound to be big news.

If you can’t prove your innocence, once these reporters cover it, the story will only get worse, and then you’ll never be able to clear your name.

Xu Xuezi remained nonchalant; she had orchestrated the fire herself, but no one knew about it, so it didn’t count for much.
