Lin Wan thought about how Han Yi couldn’t eat alone, so she prepared a generous portion for him, even bringing five bottles of beer.

Qin Hongbing patted Han Yi on the shoulder, "You’re lucky, marrying someone who can cook. If she relocates, you can bet we’d come to mooch meals. You should talk to her; don’t turn us away."
"She won’t," Han Yi assured confidently, pride evident in his heart.
After delivering the items to Han Yi, Lin Wan headed straight to the casserole shop. That day, when their shop was attacked, the maternity ward nurse really helped them out a lot.
She couldn’t just leave her behind.
As dinnertime approached, Lin Wan picked up a casserole in advance and brought some snacks to their ward.
"Oh, it’s the little owner of the casserole shop. What brings you here?"
"I’ve brought you some food. Included your favorite crispy meat," Lin Wan said, taking out the lunchbox, "Hurry, grab your lunchbox and let me pour it in."
Li Lan, being warm-hearted and straightforward, didn’t stand on ceremony with Lin Wan, "Thanks. I was planning to drop by your shop after work. I won’t be bashful then."

Li Lan laughed, "I just helped you a bit by calling someone, it’s nothing special, you don’t have to treat me differently."
"What do you mean a little help? It was a big help to us. If you hadn’t assisted, that day would have been a loss for us,"
"Actually, Tong Li’s family’s food at our hospital cafeteria isn’t very tasty. I’ve eaten there a few times and found rotten leaves twice in the rice. They must be using bad ingredients. Their food being cheap makes sense."

She eventually put the book aside, took out their photo from under the pillow, and hugged it, reminiscing for a long while. She wondered if Han Yi had received what she sent and whether he was thinking about her just as she was thinking about him.
