While packing clothes, a shadow suddenly darted out from the side. The person swiftly bent down, grabbed several pieces of clothing from her stall, and ran away.
Hu Lijuan was startled and screamed, while Hu Dong quickly chased after him.
"Lijuan, pack up quickly," Lin Wan instructed from her side, and hurriedly chased after Hu Dong. "Xiao Dung, stop chasing, come back quickly," but the kid ran fast. She simply couldn’t catch up.
"Xiao Dung, come back quickly," Lin Wan shouted while chasing in Hu Dong’s direction.
About two street corners away, Lin Wan found Hu Dong in a dead-end alley.
That guy was fighting with the thief for the clothes.
Lin Wan, with quick reflexes, grabbed a nearby wooden stick and ran over. The thief must have been a newbie, upon seeing Lin Wan angrily approaching with the stick, he let go quickly and sprinted off.
Seeing Hu Dong wanted to continue chasing, Lin Wan quickly stopped him, "Don’t chase, let’s go back."
Lin Wan picked up the clothes from the ground and pulled Hu Dong back to meet with Hu Lijuan.
"Saozi, why did you stop me? He couldn’t beat me. Just watch me catch him and give him a beating."
"How old are you to dare fight a thief alone? Luckily today’s thief wasn’t an habitual offender or part of a gang, otherwise you’d not have gotten out of that alley today."

"These people are reckless; if it were a habitual offender, he would surely carry weapons or act with a gang. While you chase him, someone might target Lijuan behind us and snatch our goods, believe it or not?" In her past life, she knew too well such tactics, and had encountered them.
