Reborn in the 1980s: Recapture My Devoted Husband Chapter 310

With only the young couple left in the house, one sewed while the other fastened buttons. When they got to the autumn clothes, Han Yi helped sort the finished clothes into categories and packed them into different bags.

But they didn’t work for too long.

Han Yi hadn’t returned for more than half a year and had hurriedly come over from Grandma’s the night before last, not even having a chance to chat with her.

Han Yi was thinking about going to see her now.

Lin Wan packed the autumn clothes she made earlier for Grandma and the set for Little Daming into a bag.

The two of them bought a few jars of canned food and malted milk from a nearby supply and marketing cooperative and cycled back to Grandma’s house.

When they arrived, the oldest cousin hadn’t finished work yet, so it was just Grandma in the shop front, and Little Daming was sweetly asleep on a small hammock nearby. It was Han Yi’s first time seeing such a tiny child, and looking at the chubby kid, he suddenly felt a bit envious of his big brother.

He turned his head and looked at his wife, who was smiling and chatting with Grandma. He wondered what it would be like when they had children in the future.

Grandma first pulled Han Yi aside to ask about the past half of the year, then talked about some recent events, especially about their move.

This matter didn’t sit well with the elder’s heart. Both grandson and granddaughter are dear to her, but she couldn’t only take care of one and neglect the other, which would hurt her grandson.

Luckily, the young couple had bought a house in advance.

"Grandma, you don’t need to worry about this. I know it must have been difficult for my big brother to come over. He didn’t mean to drive us away; it’s just convenient that we bought a house and moving out is much more comfortable than having so many people crowded together." Han Yi understood that the house originally belonged to his brother, and technically, he was just temporarily staying here. Now that he’s grown up and capable of having his own family, it’s time to leave.

"Despite that, Grandma, I always feel I’ve wronged you two."

"Grandma, you’re mistaken. I was raised by you since I was little. If there’s anyone who owes, it’s me who owes you. I still think about supporting you in your old age."

"No need for you to support me. I have two sons. Grandma is well here, and your brother and his wife are filial. They don’t let me do any chores around the house, and now your sister-in-law, besides taking care of the child, also helps with the soap business. It’s just like when Xiao Wan was here. You two just need to live well; the most important thing now while you’re young is to have a child quickly."

"Grandma, where’s Saozi?" Grandma’s words made Lin Wan a bit embarrassed. It’s not that they didn’t want children, they just didn’t avoid it, but nothing had happened. Lin Wan didn’t want to dwell on this topic, so she quickly diverted the conversation.

"She went to deliver goods to Grandma Wang. Their soap has been selling well recently, so we deliver once every ten days." Seeing the soap business doing well, a broad smile spread across Grandma’s face, "Your sister-in-law also found a business these days. The other day, she came to our house and took away quite a bit of goods, all paid in cash."

"Saozi is really capable," said Lin Wan. When Shen Rong got married, Lin Wan and Tan Aixiang talked about the soap business, but Lin Wan noticed she didn’t seem to care much. Now it seemed that she took it seriously.

The couple kept Grandma company for a while, and Little Daming woke up after a nap, fussed a little, and Grandma said he wanted to pee. Lin Wan didn’t let Grandma move and awkwardly held the child to help him pee. Unexpectedly, the child quickly returned to sleep after peeing.

"This little guy is quite a handful. He sleeps all day and is wide awake at night. You can’t sleep until one or two in the morning."

"Is he really that much of a handful? Can’t you find a way to adjust his schedule? Taking care of a child is really tiring."
